Blooming brain

The New Scientist published an article a few weeks ago called How to keep your brain blooming. It’s written by by James Goodwin, someone who knows a lot about brains.

It is a fantastic article. Of course it talks about the stuff you’d expect: what you eat, exercise, learning new skills and sleep. But there’s a lot more!

There are some really delightful recommendations, though. Gum chewing is an interesting one, doing things that give you pleasure is very acceptable, and then of course there’s the extremely positive commentary about sex…
